A classic full English breakfast is a hearty and satisfying way to start the day. This recipe includes all the essential components, from crispy bacon and sausages to fluffy scrambled eggs and fried tomatoes. Enjoy!
2 sausages | |
2 rashers of bacon | |
1 egg | |
1 tomato, halved | |
1 mushroom, sliced | |
1 slice of black pudding (optional) | |
1 tbsp baked beans | |
1 slice of toast | |
Butter | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
1. | Fry the sausages in a pan over medium heat until cooked through. |
2. | Add the bacon to the pan and cook until crispy. |
3. | Remove the sausages and bacon from the pan and set aside. |
4. | Fry the tomato halves and mushroom slices in the remaining fat until softened. |
5. | If using black pudding, fry it alongside the tomatoes and mushrooms. |
6. | In a separate pan, cook the egg to your liking (scrambled, fried, poached). |
7. | Toast the bread and spread with butter. |
8. | Serve everything together on a warm plate, with a spoonful of baked beans. |
9. | Season with salt and pepper to taste. |
